Meet Macy

We are over the moon for our newest love.  Macy has been home almost 2 weeks and our family is smitten!  She's already grown so much!  More pictures soon!!

I should follow her lead...

This week we found out Addison needed glasses.  She didn't flinch…I panicked.  I know one day someone will say something to her about them that isn't sweet. She said she doesn't care.  She likes them.  So, I'm taking her lead….not to worry about what other people say and think.  She's beautiful in them!  It's so fun to see her see things that she hasn't seen in a long time….or maybe ever!  Thanks for being such a brave girl, Addison! Daddy and I love you and are so proud of you!

Missing this place today……..

Kindergarten and Third grade

This morning Collins Lea and I dropped Caden and Addison off for the first day of school!  Then we headed to breakfast with some friends!! 

Addison has Mrs.Hunt. Caden had Mrs. Hunt in kindergarten too. I couldn't be happier that we are back!

Addison was so ready for today and said it was the beat day ever!!!

Caden insisted on walking her to her class today. However, as soon as we got to the 2nd and 3rd grade hall he left me and walked right in and got started on his work without even saying goodbye. Caden has an amazing teacher that Brian and I have known for years. It's going to be an amazing year!

This and That

Whew!  I'm not sure where the winter went.  We had TONS of snow this winter and I felt like the children never went to school.  Then before I knew it we were full swing into baseball for both Brian and Caden.  Softball for Addison.  Collins Lea and I are just along for the ride.  

Brian and I went to Las Vegas in April for 7 days…just the 2 of us.  It was amazing!  We certainly missed the children like crazy but we had a wonderful time just being the two of us.  I'll do a post of that trip soon.  The children had a wonderful time at Mom and Dad's house.  Mom and Dad enjoyed having them but were ready for us to come home!

Collins turned 3 March 31st.  Caden turned 8 April 3rd.  Then at the end of April I registered Addison to begin Kindergarten at Pearce Elementary in August.  Where have my babies gone?  

Oh and the dissertation?  It should be done this summer!!!!!  Brian should be Dr. Muller at the latest by fall!   WOOHOO!!!  We are all ready to put this season of life behind us….it's been a marathon!
