Guess who started to army crawl today?? I left for FIVE minutes and while I was gone she did it! I bet that sweet girl just wanted her Daddy to get to see a first!! I bet she'll be REAALY crawling soon!

Charlotte's Web

Today, Caden went on a date, our first date in a long time! It was GREAT! We were expecting to possibly meet up with some other mommies from church. Turns out it was just and it was just wonderful! We saw the timeless classic Charlotte's Web! Thumb in mouth, hand up shirt, yea he liked it!

Brian even stopped by and saved the day! All the other kiddos had popcorn. I didn't bring in any money, the movie was free and I had already decided that I wasn't going to spend the money on popcorn. Afterall, he doesn't even know that you "should" get popcorn at the movies....until...he saw EVERY other kid there with popcorn. So when his Daddy said he was coming I made sure he brought some popcorn and a drink in!

Addison got her own date with her Aunt Jennifer. We sure did miss this sweet face while we were gone! Caden actually said he was sad that Addison was not in her carseat! What a sweet, sweet boy.

The ZOO!!!

Last weekend the kids, Brian, I, my parents, Jennifer and Jeremy all headed down to Ashboro to the North Carolina Zoo! The last time I was at the zoo was for Caden's first birthday and the time before that was for a field trip when I was teaching. Three short days later Caden was here!!

We all had a BLAST at the zoo! Caden loved looking at the animals. We also joined the zoo so we can go whenever we want and will only check out 1/2 at a time so we don't have to rush. Check out this handsome dude! He had a blast!

YEARS ago....okay maybe not that many really but in all fairness the last time we took a picture in this EXACT spot we were 9 years younger! Wow...all the things that have changed in 9 years.....

Wedding FUN!!

Kristy Beam got married last Saturday... I guess officially she's not Kristy Beam anymore but I doubt any of us stop calling her that. Except for maybe Caden that recently started calling her Kristy Jelly Bean. HA! We all had a BLAST! Addison in her sweet dress that my Aunt Lindsey sent for her!

Mary and Addison. Addison has learned how to pull her hairbows out and she's making me NUTS with it! The other day I found 4 hairbows in her carseat! Mary was Maid of Honor for Kristy and looked beautiful!

The "Shull girls" and Kristy! Kristy has been a part of our family for about 10 years now. It's crazy to see her married. I remember when I met Kristy. Kristy and Mary were in middle school...enough said...middle school is AWFUL!

Happy Memorial Day

We hope you and your family had a wonderful Memorial Day. We sure did. Last night we took a trip to see Brian's Dad's headstone in Salisbury. I will post those pictures later this week so be sure to check back! Today we got up took our time getting ready and then went to the Battleground Park to walk with Mom and Zoey. This evening we went over to Mom's for some of Brian's AWESOME ribs! Here are some pictures of us playing outside before the rains came!

We even played a VERY short game of kickball...we need more people. Where are the girls when you need them??

Have I mentioned that in two months we'll be at my favorite place in the entire world??

Strawberries, Wagon Rides and Great times with Friends

Last week we went and picked strawberries with Riley and Allyn (Jenn came too!) We had a great time. Look closely at KK's shorts...it ALL came out...can you believe it! They were covered in strawberries! The girls!
Caden and Addison got to go on a wagon ride when I went to church last Sunday! Addison LOVED it!

Last Saturday we visited with some GREAT friends. This is Brandt, my friend Carrie's son. Carrie and I went to high school together but didn't really "hang out" together much. Then in about 2002 we reconnected through another friend and have been great friends since! I love that our boys are only 10 months apart and are finally playing together and our girls will be about 13 months apart! If only we lived a little closer!
