Proudest day ever

Last night in Awana Caden learned what it means to share his love for Jesus. His leader challenged him to share John 3:16 with someone. Today he asked his teacher if he could tell it to the whole class. She let him!

I'm so proud of you Caden Scott!!

Swimming Leasons

Addison is taking swimming lessons this month! (thanks nana and da!). She is loving it. Her good friend miller is in the same class. The two of them couldn't be any sweeter together!

Collins new trick

Collins has a trick. This morning it's just me and her. Addison had a great time watching "Annie" with her Grandaddy and snuggling in the morning with her Grandma.

While I was in the shower I kept hearing loud noises. I called for Collins. Heard her laugh so I knew she was okay. She has learned to throw things. In the tub from in the bathroom. Looks like she found Caden's sock and her shoe.

Look what Collins can do

This afternoon Brian was reading to the big kids. I was picking up the upstairs when Brian called for me to come QUICK!

Look what my sweet girl did just before her 11 month birthday!!

Tubes

Back at the beginning of January at Collins' 9 month appointment we discovered that my sweet girl had an ear infection. After 6 antibiotics since then she got tubes this morning. There was so much fluid in her ears that she had moderate to severe hearing loss. By Gods good grace I'm positive that today my baby hears clearly for the first time in months. She was a champ this morning. We had the greatest nurse ever. (thank you Peggy!) the nurses in recovery wanted to keep her.

Today has been interesting. Everyday noises startle her. When we got home Brian started his truck and she nearly jumped out of my arms. I'm thankful. I've laughed today at her playing with toys that make sounds with an all new wonder. She's lived her life muted for months.

We go back to the doctor march 21 to retest her hearing. I'm looking forward to a positive visit.
