Nags Head

We've had a GREAT start to our week with MANY adventures! Sorry the pictures are out of order but all from today! No rolling pin so Aunt Lindsey used a wine bottle...we're flexible! Christopher held Caden during the VERY loud thunderstorm! If you know Caden well you know that he is VERY afraid of thunder (along with many other things!)

Addison did not surf but LOVES the waves! I'm sure one day she'll catch one!

This girl hung out with her Grandaddy!

Back from their adventure! There's no telling what the two of them will get into! Check back tomorrow for some action shots and if I can get one of the cousins to upload it a video!

At some point every parent has to sacrifice. Brian was going to clean bathrooms for me today....instead he made sure caden got a nap! Now that's sacrifice!!!

Where have we been with a little NOT me Monday!

We had some 4th of July fun at Fun Fourth in downtown Greensboro!! We watched Big Bang Boom!!
I've most certainly NOT given my 10 month old baby icecream sandwiches. I know that they can't have milk products until a year!

We followed Brad Paisley's advice and started a band! I'm proud to introduce "The Dinosaurs"!!

Again, I have NOT given my children icecream sandwiches...totally not healthy! I always give my kids ONLY healthy snacks!

We've given some love!

We've had a great summer so far! We've also spent a TON of time at the pool! I need to remember the camera next time we go! Next week is VBS at church and the following week we leave for the beach! I'll be sure to update pictures while we're there if I don't get back here before then!

Not me...

Ahh...Monday. Here's a few things that I have NOT done lately. What have you NOT done this week!

I did NOT argue with Caden over what shirt he would wear, that would be absurd to argue with a three year old.

I did NOT give Caden benadyrl in hopes that it would make him sleep when he was scared to death of the fireworks, not me, that would be an irresponsible use of medicine. By the way, I did NOT put Caden in my bed because it would have been easier than getting him to sleep in his own bed. Again, that would have been lazy.

I did NOT give Addison only cheerios for breakfast this morning so that she would not mess up her sweet smocked outfit. Not me, I would NEVER do that just so she could look oh so sweet for her doctors appointment.

I TOTALLY knew what time her appointment was this morning. I did NOT get everyone up and dressed just in case the appointment was at 9:00 only to find out it was at 11:40. Not me, I knew exactly what time her appointment was.
