20 months!

Dear Collins Lea,

You are just over 20 months old.  I love you more than life itself and cannot imagine any other child completing our family.  I have to admit that it breaks my heart that you are officially not a baby anymore!  In the last week or two you have started saying several sentences.  Some of them are: "I need _____", "I need shoes" "hush Emma".  You also answer yes or no to most questions with some confusion! You are so funny and keep us laughing. You roll with the punches at all times and are even happy to wear your brothers old pajamas.  You have decided that biting is a good way to get your way.  We are working very hard to correct this!

You love to play with Caden and Addison.  Your favorite toy is Addison's Bitty Baby doll!  You will wrap her up in a blanket and say "shhhh" in her ear while bouncing her.   So sweet!

You are the sweetest girl!  You are very selective as to when you will give us hugs and kisses but when you do they are oh so sweet.

Mommy and Daddy pray daily that you will be a wonderful wife and mother and that you will choose to trust Jesus one day!  We know He has BIG plans for your life!  We also pray for your future husband that God will prepare him for you and you for him.  I pray he's as good to you as your daddy is to me!  May we always be an example of what God intended marriage to be like.

I love you to the moon and back sweet baby girl!

Love, Mommy

Our Christmas Tree

Saturday we loaded up with our dear friends the Broyles and headed to Boone.  We enjoyed an amazing breakfast at the Daniel Boone Inn.  I can't wait to go back!  Then for the first time we headed to cut down our tree.
Addison wouldn't walk with us. I'm almost sure she thinks she's Jenni's child.

On the way there I looked in the backseat and saw this!  I'm not sure what he was ready for but he was certainly ready!

Once you find your tree you hold this stick up with the orange side up and they come and cut the tree down for you and haul it on a 4-wheeler to the bottom!

Daddy's best helper!

These too boys were way too cute together!  We rode a hayride to the bottom of the mountain and they decided to lay down and take silly pictures!

Leah is so much help with Collins.

We can't wait to do it again next year!
