Big Girl Hair

Week before last it was time to get Collins Lea her first "big girl" hair cut!  Have I mentioned that she's completely potty trained and sleeps in a twin bed now?!?!  My goodness....for the first time in 8 years we don't have a crib in our home and for the first time in 7.5 years we have no diapers.  (Okay, she does sleep in pull ups at night but is dry most mornings!)  She is the sweetest most easy going child we have.  She's also the most adventurous!  She gives the other two a run for their money every day and makes the 4 of us laugh on a minute by minute basis.  She is a mommy's girl 99% of the time...she still insists that I hold her whenever she pleases...of course I oblige whenever possible...she's only little once.  Right?

She talks all the time and her speech is very clear.  We are so thankful after she had so many problems before the tubes and temporarily lost most of her hearing in both ears!

We are blessed more than words can convey by this 2 and a half year old little girl!

(check out Addison in the back...the girl is hilarious and so expressive!!!!  I love it!!!)

First Day of Preschool

After Labor Day the girls started back to preschool. Bittersweet for sure.  We were all ready to get back in a groove but I'm always ready to go get them at lunch time!  This is Addison's last year of preschool!  Where did the time go?  I am trying to soak her up this year before she heads off to kindergarten.

I can't wait to see how much the girls have grown by the end of the school year!  I don't have a picture of Collins outside of her class.  She wanted to go to her old class so I had to drop and run!  :)

Happy 5th Birthday Addison Elizabeth

On August 31st Addison turned 5!  She had the "best day ever!"  It really was a great day!  We started the day by going to breakfast.  Then we went to her birthday party at Art Quest downtown. She LOVED it.  Later that evening Mom and Dad had a pizza party for her.  It was a great day.  Mimi, PopPop, Aunt Lindsey and Uncle Kurty all came to celebrate our girl!
