This morning I decided to go shopping with my Mom and Dad. Brian and the kids were invited but Brian offered for me just to go to have a little "Mommy time" while he kept the kids. So...I gladly accepted. When I got home there were LOTS of toys out...I smiled! I love it when Brian gets the opportunity to just play with Caden and Addison. This is a gift that he has given me and the children so that I don't get to miss a minute. Often times on the weekends we head out early and run around town and do something fun. When we get home it's nap time. Very rarely do we just stay home on a Saturday and play! He got a glimpse into my day...while it's hard work it's a lot of fun!
Often when I go out with Caden and Addison by myself and the weather is decent I'll put Addison in her sling and Caden in the stroller. This week I found a great deal on a baby bijorn for Brian. Caden tried it out this morning with his doll Harlow...
and yes...that's Addison he's got in the carrier!!
Looks like "Daddy days" are a lot of fun!!!! I sure did enjoy my morning out and even got the chance to utilize the shuttle service at the Honda dealership....now that's something you can't do with two carseats!!
