God Is Love!

God, Jesus and the Bible are often conversations around here. Today in the car on the way home Caden asked me this: "Mommy, God can do anything can't he?" Of course I told him that God can. Then for whatever reason we started talking about times in the Bible that God was angry. We talked about Noah and Jonah and obedience. It's neat to hear him discuss God's word in an intellegent conversation. I love how God is working in Caden's sweet heart. Brian and I both pray that one day he'll know Jesus as his personal Lord and Savior! What a sweet day that will be! (Of course we pray for Addison and Collins salvation as well!!) We've also been praying for other countries. Just the other night he talked to Mary for about 15 minutes about her trip to Nepal. He wanted to know how she taught the children about Jesus if it's not allowed. He even wanted to know what they play and do during the day! He's really burdened that everyone can't talk about Jesus whenever they want. I find myself asking if I carry the same burden. He humbles me.

That's Love!

Mommy got tired of sitting on the bathroom floor with her while she tries to potty! So she talked her nuh nuh into it!! He's so sweet to her! He has a good role model though...his Daddy is very good to me!!

Ice Skating!

This week the US iceskating championship is in Greensboro! Saturday we took the kids to watch the practice session!! We had a lot of fun!!! Caden loved it and wants to learn to iceskate! We'll see!

Can you believe less than 12 hours later Addison spiked a fever and has had one since then!! She and 5 of her friends shared some germs Wednesday night at Puggles! I'm hearing it's about a 2 day bug! Hopefully, we're on the upswing. Her fever right now is right at 100...much improved from over 102!

**CODE ADAM**

Tonight Brian and I went with the kids to Lowe's to look at counter tops. All was going well until all of the sudden Caden yells, "Addison's gone"! Indead she was. I took off towards the door and ran into the parking lot to look for her. When I was coming back in I hear them come over the announcements, "ATTENTION ASSOCIATES, CODE ADAM"! In case you don't know what code adam is...they shut the entire place down and all associates start looking for the missing child. Brian found her moments later. In reality she was missing for less than 3 minutes but it felt like forever.

(This is mostly for our records so we never forget the adventures Addison takes us on in life!! We love you sweet girl!!)

We are BUSY!

This week has been great! Addison even got to go to school. She is doing great with potty training...she makes it most days with no accidents! We are very proud of her!!

Tomorrow Brian and I are going to take Caden and Addison to watch the iceskaters that are in town for the championship! I will be sure to post pictures tomorrow. We're just going to the practice rounds! I don't think he'd sit still for hours during the real thing!

On Thursday (as long as there's no snow!) the kids and I are headed north to see my grandma! I think it's been since September since we've seen her! We can't wait we've certainly missed her and the rest of you up there! Brian has class Friday afternoon and all day Saturday...so he'll miss out on our adventure! Hard to believe that this will be my last trip up there until after sweet Collins gets here!

In late February we are headed to the Great Wolf Lodge with some great friends! Caden can't wait!! This will certainly be our last vacation just the 4 of us!

In early March Caden will get registered for Kindergarten! YIKES! I registered Addison and Collins for preschool next year! It was bitter sweet that I didn't fill out that preschool form for Caden! He will love kindergarten and will do great!!!

In April we'll celebrate Caden's 5th birthday at the bowling alley! He wanted to have a bowling party and since I will be 37 weeks pregnant Brian and I thought it was a great idea!

Of course...all this leading up to the Muller's becoming a family of 5!!! We can hardly wait!! Collins now has a nursery!! Brian painted this week and last night we put the crib together for the last time! I still need to clean out Collins closet...I'm hoping to get it done this weekend!!

I hope each of you are doing well!! Thanks for keeping up with us! God has certainly blessed us with an exciting season in our lives!!

Getting ready for Collins!

His face in this picture melts my heart!

Hi Daddy

At 9:30 tonight Brian was painting, I was talking to Mary on the phone when all of the sudden Brian says, "someone's up!" He goes and looks in AdEliz's room and her bed is empty. So we run downstairs to see where she is. Turns out she need lipgloss....and evidently some mascara! She also said her toes needed polish. In my purse I had some Halls. She clearly didn't like those judging by the half eaten sticky piece that was placed back in the bag. She informed us that, "I not like that candy!" We brought her upstairs bathed her (again). While Brian showered her she asked if Brian was mad he told her yes. She then asked if she was going to get a spanking Brian told her she would. She then told him she not like that so he shouldn't do that. (she did indeed get the spanking!) Then she went potty...when she was done she asked for a skittle (I told her no way!), she then asked for an m&m...when that didn't worked she said, "how bout some bubble gum". Oh my...we are going to have our hands VERY full!!!!!! While on the potty she also told us she had a princess party downstairs. I asked her who came...Mama came with Grandaddy, her friend Allyn and some others! Oh my! I have to be honest...Brian and I both had to duck into another room to laugh before we could discipline her! She's a sneaky girl!!! I sure do love her but she's going to keep us on our toes!!!

It's almost time

okay...well there is a little bit more time..but not much. Soon out sweet baby boy (or girl)! Will be here! Today I'm at work and Brian's at home with the kiddos. They had a big morning of bowling and running errands, we met for lunch and this afternoon Brian is painting the nursery! Yes, the third child gets a nursery. Although, it'll be green I can't wait to see if we'll fill it up with sweet little boy things or prissy girl things!

Tomorrow I will be 26 weeks!! That means if Collins follows his/her brother we only have 12 weeks left!! YIKES! I have a lot to do! Before Collins comes Caden will turn 5! I can't believe it!

I'm off to get some work done.....I told Brian I'd be home by 4...you know unless something comes up!! ha!

A Great Love!

August 31, 2008 a GREAT love affair started between these two! They've been together non-stop for the past 5 weeks because of Christmas and snow days. However, even though they get tired of each other and argue they want to know what the other is doing. Even today when Addison went to the doctor with me (Collins is doing GREAT!) and Caden went to work with Brian she asked where he was several times. She says she doesn't miss him but she sure does ask about him! (Caden looks SO little in these pictures...I thought at the time he was SO big! Last night alone Addison got in trouble for getting out of her bed 5 times...each time she got a spanking but I guess it was worth it for her to see her nuhnuh!!
They hug each other and kiss each other constantly. She is his shadow.

Right now Caden is resting late since he went to work with Daddy today. Addison is already done with her nap and keeps sneaking upstairs and into her room because she, "needs to see nuhnuh." I love that they love each other! I can't wait to see how much they love and include Collins!! I know Addison will miss her brother like crazy when he's at school next year.
I'm off to console a sweet little girl that's crying because she can't see nuh!!!

ANOTHER snow day and Mimi's Visit

Whew...we have had a TON of snow this winter. These top two pictures are of our children working hard to remove the snow this morning! Caden, Addison and I are ready for everyone to get back to school and into a routine...although we have enjoyed having Brian around so much. Down side? In the spring he'll have to make up the days when Collins is here. We got them these snow shovels just after Christmas and they LOVE them! I am hoping to venture out this afternoon to get the paint for Collins' room!! Just about 100 days left!!! I can't wait to meet this sweet baby! I was just telling Brian that I miss seeing him/her. With Addison it was medically necessary to check on things once a month so I got to see her all the time! I cannot justify $100 to see him/her for only 15 minutes!

The day after Christmas Mimi came for a few days!! We had a great time! Caden took a few pictures with Daddy's new camera!

Caden and Addison got LOTS and LOTS of love!!!!!

Mimi even braved the cold with Caden, Addison and Brian!!

Addison got her very own car from Mimi and Pop Pop for Christmas and she just loves it! Now if it will quit snowing long enough she could ride it more often. We can't wait till spring!

Photos by Caden

Brian and I have loved to see what's important to Caden. He got a camera from Santa...and has been taking pictures since. There are some less than flattering ones of Brian and I...I'll keep those to myself!

It's what Firefighters do!

Our very own sherrif/firefighter/SWAT member saved the day this morning! I was making the kids cinamon rolls this morning. I left the wrapper on the stove and decided to make myself some tea. I put the kettle on the stove and turned it on...walked away...awaiting the whistle. About 5 minutes later sweet Caden says in a calm voice words I'm very used to, "Mommy there's a fire". Typically, I just tell him to get his firesuit on and save the day. In a little bit more of an excited voice he says, "Mommy, there really is a fire this time on the stove." I got up from the email I was sending and ran over. Sure enough the wrapper is completely black and smoking. Turns out I turned on the wrong burner. How will I make it when he goes to Kindergarten next year?
Caden has also decided that he's going to potty train Addison today. I'm not holding my breath....but so far she has gone potty for him every time he's asked.
Well...since they're both watching The Little Mermaid I'm going to work for a while!
Happy New Year from our family to yours!!
