Baby Jesus

Collins fell in love with little people yesterday! I thought this picture was just way too cute not to share. Baby Jesus got out on top.

20 months!

Dear Collins Lea,

You are just over 20 months old.  I love you more than life itself and cannot imagine any other child completing our family.  I have to admit that it breaks my heart that you are officially not a baby anymore!  In the last week or two you have started saying several sentences.  Some of them are: "I need _____", "I need shoes" "hush Emma".  You also answer yes or no to most questions with some confusion! You are so funny and keep us laughing. You roll with the punches at all times and are even happy to wear your brothers old pajamas.  You have decided that biting is a good way to get your way.  We are working very hard to correct this!

You love to play with Caden and Addison.  Your favorite toy is Addison's Bitty Baby doll!  You will wrap her up in a blanket and say "shhhh" in her ear while bouncing her.   So sweet!

You are the sweetest girl!  You are very selective as to when you will give us hugs and kisses but when you do they are oh so sweet.

Mommy and Daddy pray daily that you will be a wonderful wife and mother and that you will choose to trust Jesus one day!  We know He has BIG plans for your life!  We also pray for your future husband that God will prepare him for you and you for him.  I pray he's as good to you as your daddy is to me!  May we always be an example of what God intended marriage to be like.

I love you to the moon and back sweet baby girl!

Love, Mommy

Our Christmas Tree

Saturday we loaded up with our dear friends the Broyles and headed to Boone.  We enjoyed an amazing breakfast at the Daniel Boone Inn.  I can't wait to go back!  Then for the first time we headed to cut down our tree.
Addison wouldn't walk with us. I'm almost sure she thinks she's Jenni's child.

On the way there I looked in the backseat and saw this!  I'm not sure what he was ready for but he was certainly ready!

Once you find your tree you hold this stick up with the orange side up and they come and cut the tree down for you and haul it on a 4-wheeler to the bottom!

Daddy's best helper!

These too boys were way too cute together!  We rode a hayride to the bottom of the mountain and they decided to lay down and take silly pictures!

Leah is so much help with Collins.

We can't wait to do it again next year!

Disney...it's the most magical place on earth!  We decided to wait until Addison was 4 to head to the happiest place on earth.  It was perfect timing and all 3 kids had a great time! I can't wait to go back!  Brian and I are already talking about our next big trip.

The girls wore their Snow White dresses the first day at the Magic Kingdom!

Addison LOVED meeting all of the princesses.

She was speechless when she met Cinderella!  It was the cutest thing ever.

We met many characters.  Buzz was of course a favorite!

The big kids rode all the big rides with zero fear.  Addison loves the drops and Caden could do without them but tried every ride even Space Mountain.  He's glad he did it but still says that he hated it.  I think when the drops come his body lifted and of course that is scary!

Collins' expression says it all...it was the best week ever!

Addison took a little nap in the stroller.  Peter Pan made sure everyone kept quiet for our princess to sleep!

The highlight of Addison's week was meeting Rapunzel.

Does this get any cuter?  Addison told Rapunzel that she's her favorite princess.  Rapunzel told Addison that her favorite princess was Princess Addison.

Collins Lea wanted NOTHING to do with Minnie or the other characters in suits.

We played at Honey I Shrunk the Kids while Brian, Mary and Tom rode the Rockin Rollercoaster!

Caden LOVED this part!

I love this smile!

I love that Addison held the green army man's hand!

Collins was super excited because she was held by someone most of the week!

On Thursday Lisa and Calen came over and the big kids got to go to Mickey's Christmas Party and then spend the night with Mimi and Pop Pop in a Finding Nemo room...super cool!  Then Friday we went to the Magic Kingdom.

Do you think this sweet little girl is rotten?  She sure does love her Grandaddy!

It was the best week!  Thanks Mom and Dad for making it happen!  Now, we can't wait for our London 2024 trip!
