Happy 3 months Collins

It seems like you've been apart of us forever but that I just saw your sweet face for the first time yesterday! I'm thankful for what you add to our family. You have the most precious smile!

This week you've followed in your brother and sisters footsteps and found your thumb!

Collins..

Why are you so happy this morning? Well Mommy and Daddy are just as happy that you've slept at least 10 hours the past three nights! Last night you slept just under 12 hours!! I thought you'd never sleep through the night. Caden and Addison did at 8 weeks on the dot and you at 12 on the dot!! They told me you'd do things about a month behind! Glad you did! I love you sweet baby!

Have you heard??

YUP! Brian is now the principal of Huntsville in Rockingham county!! God has been all over this...if you know the story at all I was AGAINST this move in the beginning! I was 90% no and 10% yes on the issue. God put to rest every hesitation I had! He is faithful!!

On Father's day we headed out to the new school to make sure the playgrounds were up to par! We checked out the big kid playground and then...

the pre-k classroom! Both were sastisfactory to Caden and Addison. We also walked around the entire school. Caden informed Brian of all the repairs that need to be done. You know....grass in the concrete just won't work! It could effect test scores ya know!

wedding time again

Last Friday night Brian, Collins and I head to Black Mountain for the evening to celebrate Cassie and Ashley's marriage! Cassie was one of my first friends at Northwest High when we moved to Greensboro! I'm thankful for her friendship!

It was nice to be on a mini trip with my best love! It's not often we get away...even though we had Collins with us!

I'm thankful all of our husbands are also great friends!

Sweet friends!

I'm thankful that Carrie is in Greensboro now! It's so nice to have them just around a corner (or 2)! 7 minutes is way better than 2 hours. It only took 7 years to get them here!!

Allsion and Brendan's Wedding

Allison and Brendan got married two weeks ago! We had a GREAT time! It was a beautiful wedding with a GREAT party afterwards! We all DANCED a lot!!

Caden had a GREAT time dancing with the bridal party!

Everyone danced with the bride!

Mary and Mom got in the middle of the circle!

Aunt Lindsey and Mom took a turn...typically they reserve this kind of behavior for the privacy of our beach house! ha! Look at the people's faces in the background! HILARIOUS!

The Bride and Groom teaching my sweet Addison how to fist pump! That's her arm at the bottom of the picture!

Of course Collins had to get in on the dancing action!!

Caden, as ususal, was the star of the dance floor!

Daddy and Addison danced until that sweet girl passed out!

I was also lucky enough to dance with the sweetest 2 year old in the place!

It's been a while!

It's been a while. Life with 3 children is VERY busy! Wonderful...but busy! I'm trying to soak up every minute of having a newborn in our house...she is my last one afterall! I've also gone back to work and summer time is here! I'm busy.

Caden had a GREAT first baseball season! Doesn't he look like an athlete? (He didn't get that from me!)

Afterall, he does have the best coach ever that shares the love of baseball!!

We've spent tons of time in the backyard playing.

And hanging out!

I've spent tons of time snugglin' with this sweet girl!

Did I mention that we took a trip to the White House and enjoyed rolling in the grass!?

Addison, Not many children can say that they played, sucked their thumb and "got belly" on the White House lawn. So appropraiate for you sweet girl!

We had a great day that WARM Easter Monday! It was a long day but worth every second! Brian and I were SO proud of Caden for walking the many miles we walked that day! He was a trooper. However, he let us know he's not for city living...neither is this mommy, bug!

We ran into a sweet friend

She was sweet to take a family picture of us!

Did I mention how much we've enjoyed this new addition to our family. I promise I can't get enough of her! (okay...maybe I would like for her to move past our middle of the night snuggles and feedings!)

Caden could not adore her anymore! He loves her so much that he often wakes her from naps to love on her. We're working on waiting until she's awake for that!

Caden was a cubbie at AWANA this year! He memorized and understood 34 verses this year! There is nothing sweeter than listening to your chilren speak scripture together! I'm thankful for his wonderful teachers!

Addison also had a GREAT year in Puggles! She learned the 7 days of creation and the sweetest puggles song! Addison also had the best teachers!!

Princess Addison also LOVES Collins! She calls her Collins Lea just like I do! I love it! You can't see Collins here but she's under her adoring sister!

This spring we spent TONS of time at the baseball field! Addison enjoyed digging in the gravel and hanging out with her brothers friends!

Addison can't wait to play tee ball of course she'll need a pink bat, glove and helmet!

Art and Lynn as well as Grandma and Grandaddy were so nice to come see KK so often!

By the end of the season Caden was no longer using a tee! He hit the ball about half the time...I was impressed!

The season ended with a throphe!! WOOHOO!!!

All good bike owners have to wash up. This spring Caden learned to ride his bike with no training wheels!!
