"mommy, I pray for you"

Today Caden got off the bus and said to me, "mommy, I pray for you when I'm at school."

Sleeping Children

This is how I found all three sleeping tonight when I checked in them just now.

Collins must of had a tough day!

Mater and Rex. Don't forget Ben banks in there.

Where's Addison? Hello woody!

**I did not move or alter any of their sleeping arrangements.
**Collins has now turned her head!

The First Day of School

Today was the first day of school for the girls! Addison was so excited! She knew just about everyone in her class and her favorite, Coleman saved the day. On the way she decided that maybe she should just hang out with mommy instead. Then we saw Coleman. She was done with me quicker than quick! I'm thankful she had a good day! Collins had a decent day. They said she was happy until nap time. Then she took a good nap and when she woke up she was MAD! They gave her a bottle and she settled down for a few minutes. She'll get it...I know because they told me so! I'm thankful for a place that loves my baby. When I picked her up she was SCREAMING! However, she was being rocked and loved on even though she was being less than pleasant! She'll get it...soon she'll love First Baptist as much as we do. Of course everyone loved that they matched! :)

It was strange walking those halls without Caden. I passed the fours class and both teachers commented how strange it was to see me coming without him. I still look for him during the day especially when we're out and I'm counting children. He's LOVING school! Although I'm not thrilled with all the things he's learned...

So...what did I do with my day. Well...I wish I could tell you that I had a lot of fun. That's my plan for Friday. Today I went to work. Awana kicked off tonight with over 100 kids...pray for them. God is big...he's got bigger things in store for us this year...I'm sure of that!

My love.

We've missed our days together!!

My sweet (messy) boy

Caden is such a sweet boy. Now that he's at school the girls and I miss him so much. However, yesterday I tool the time to clean out his room. You see my sweet boy keeps EVERYTHING. If you give him a paper it's for keeps. I'm talking tags off of clothes and everything. It's gone. All gone. He came home yesterday to a room void of (most) junk! He thanked me. Asked where is stuff was. I assured him that I put everything away. I did tell him I had to throw away some trash. I did not tell him I threw away a few broken toys and a bag for goodwill.

I walked in there this morning after he got on the bus to see this...for the first time in a year I did not have to ask him to make his bed. He did it on his own. My heart smiled. I can't wait to tell him how proud I am when he gets home.

It's the little things...
