Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

Christmas Time!

We've been super busy this Christmas! Caden and Addison have been home for about 2 weeks and I think they're both ready to go back! (I'll be honest...I'm ready for them to go back too!!! We had a WONDERFUL Christmas and even got about 6 inches of snow! I hope you and your families also had a great Christmas! We sang Happy Birthday to Daddy and Jesus and talked about the most wonderful birth ever! Santa brought Addison a stroller! A few weeks before Christmas it snowed and Brian took the kids out in it! I don't go out...you know I could slip...or...ahem...get cold!

Caden got a SWAT outfit and has been arresting Addison on a regular basis. Sad thing is she really doesn't mind most of the time. However, when she does mind he certainly gets frustrated with her resisting arrest!

This was also a few weeks before Christmas!

Caden sang during the Hanging of the Greens service at church!!

I found this picture on the camera. Brian took it. I'm not even sure where the picture was taken but I was very impressed!!

Happy New Year! (I will update soon with the pictures off of Brian's new camera! Mimi came to visit and we had a great time!!!)

Christmas with friends!

Tonight we had some friends overs for dessert! The kids had a great time! Addison and Emory love, love, love each other! They danced and hugged, Addison stole Emory's crackers....they had a blast! Here they are...what a crew! I can't believe they all looked in the same (almost) direction at the same time! (We missed you Leah and Jenni!)

Collins at 20 weeks 3 days

We had so much fun looking at our newest baby today! I can't wait to meet him/her!! He/she is VERY busy so Collins should get along great with Caden and Addison!! We're half way and I know it'll be here before we know it! Christmas break is going to be dedicated to getting the nursery ready! I remember when Brian and I moved into our current house how big it seemed. At the time Caden was only a year old and while we had plans to add two more children they weren't taking up space! My mom told me it would feel very small by the time we added two more children. She couldn't have been more right! I can't wait to have a house full of our 3 babies!

we have a very healthy baby!

I will. update more later. I can't wait to find out if Collins is a sweet baby boy or girl!

Here are a few!!

Here are some more pictures from the day we spent in old salem! This top one is a favorite! It wouldn't have turned out so awesome if we had said her name but she was turning around because they were really getting too far infront of us! Enjoy!!

(make sure you look at the two post below this! yes, believe it or not I blogged 3 times today!)

pictures taken by amy

I love the way she loves him!

I just love the way she loves him! When he's with us or not she says "nuh nuh" a million times! Yes, Caden and I both get tired of it. However, I think if she ever quit we'd both be sad! He is caution and she is fearless...he is sweet she is spunky....he is silly she is sillier...together they make a perfect team! I can't wait to see how Collins fits into this mix! (Addison is sleeping and Caden is sitting here with me. He just asked if he could wake Addison up! As much as he says she makes him crazy...he's just as in love with her as she is with him!)

20 WEEKS!

I can't believe it but Tuesday marked 20 weeks! Tomorrow, Brian and I will take the kids to go see Collins. I'm a little concerned that Addison is going to be VERY sad when she realizes that she cannot hold him/her! ha! That's all she talks about...holding her baby! I think I'm going to have my hands full...but I can't wait!!

So...pray that we have a healthy and happy baby tomorrow. It's strange going but not finding out if Collins is a boy or girl but I'm so excited! I'll post pictures tomorrow!!

Amy did a great job! If you're in Greensboro and need a photographer let me know! Amy was GREAT with Caden and Addison!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and hope that you and your family did too!! We went to my Mom and Dad's and had some delicious food! Caden and Addison had a great time playing outside!

The sisters and Jeremy played words with friends on our iphones/ipad.

We played nicely...I promise. Except the girls like to rush me...all.the.time! (Mary ALWAYS wins but I'm getting close to beating her!)

I love it!

I LOVE Fridays. It's the only day in the week that is a "mommy day" for both Caden and Addison. This morning Caden was so kind to sleep until a few minutes after 9 and Addison slept until 9:45. They watched Elmo for a few together. (yes, he's still sucking his thumb but not nearly as much!) Now they're eating cinamon rolls. We'll get dressed...venture to the science center and come home home for lunch and nap. I sure will miss Caden next year when he's in school all day!

She keeps us on our toes!!

Tonight Brian was giving them a bath. He turned his head for literally one second and she decided she'd get out of the tub by herself. Thus, earning herself this nice egg on her head. oh yea...I am so excited that we're having our family pictures taken next Wednesday! I hope it looks much better by then! Looks like she scratched under her eye has well!! We sure do love her but her teenage years may make me gray...
(ps...the scratch on the nose is old...well yesterdays mishap!)

Girl Time

I am loving my girl time with Addison! We have every Tuesday and Thursday together! Today we went shopping. Every store we went to she knew.....opps. We tried to Christmas shop but it didn't work. She even looked forward to lunch with "the girls"!! I have to admit she gets that from me. I LOVE to have lunch with my friends! I could do it everyday! My friend Jenni shared that her daugther caught the travel bug. Well Addison has caught the shopping and lunch bug. It's bad. This morning she woke up asking to go shopping and then have lunch with my friends!

She has turned into such a funny and sweet little girl, with a little sassiness mixed in! She rocks her baby complete with hips moving from side to side. This morning when I dressed her she looked down at herself and said, "this looks awful." Seriously, she made me change her clothes. I feel sure I never, ever did that to my mom! I don't think she gets the magnitude of Collins but EVERY store we go in she wants to buy stuff for Collins!

I can't wait to see how she continues to learn and grow!! I love every bit of her...even the sassiness!!!

Have you seen the Muller Family??

Well you see....Addison's been busy hanging with her best friends...isn't that what life's about? Caden's been preforming magic tricks!!

Addison learned the art and joy of trunk or treating!! Did you know that a bunny costume can hold a good bit of candy?!

Every Magician needs a bunny! I happen to think that they were the sweetest magician and bunny there!! (Okay...they were the only ones but certainly the cutest!)

What have Brian and I been up to? Well...what have we not been up to!?!? Brian's busy with school (both of them!)! I've been busy keeping up the magician and his bunny! Collins has been busy kicking his mommy! (Yes, I think it's a boy but I'm certainly in the minority with that prediction!) I've told Brian it appears he'll have someone to hang out with him until he goes to bed at 2! Collins gets the party started (at least where I can feel it) at about 9 and doesn't stop until sometime after two. It doesn't keep me up yet but I can still feel him when I wake up to potty! All is well in the Muller household! We're looking forward to the Holidays! I love, love, love Thanksgiving and Christmas! After the holidays it'll be time to buckle down and get things ready for Collins' grand appearance.

Oh...Collins officially has a new middle name if he's a boy, he will be. His new and FINAL name is Collins Lewis! Caden and Addison both have family middle names so Brian suggested my grandfathers' middle name! We both wish my Grandad and his Grandpa could have met our three kids! They would have loved each other sooooo much!
We're also thankful that Caden, Addison and Collins will know 3/4 of their Great Grandmothers and 1/4 of our Grandfathers.

God is Faithful

(Halloween pictures coming soon!)

This week I have been reminded how faithful God is. This week I have been praying, almost non-stop, for Mary's good friend and former roommate, Crystal. She disappeared last Tuesday...didn't use her phone, debit card or gas card. Her parents had no idea where she was...of course we didn't either. However, I am not her mother. I did not feel the same worry and agony her mother did. That's all I could think about. Of course I was worried about Crystal . I just couldn't get her mom out of my mind. My heart stops when I can't find Caden or Addison in a store for no more than 30 seconds. Her baby had been gone for days...not in a warm store but in the woods. How did she function? I don't think she did, really. This week I hugged my babies a little tighter...prayed that they'd never feel pain that they couldn't share with me...that they never feel like they had another option but to run.

Hundreds, maybe thousands prayed for her return. God was FAITHFUL! They found her yesterday evening, no doubt, scared, cold, and hungry! BUT she's ALIVE...how is that even possible? It's been so cold...she wasn't prepared...but her Heavenly Father was. No doubt, in the woods she relied on Him! No doubt while she was in the woods her mother relied on Him!

God NEVER ceases to amaze me with what He can do through me and inspite of me, what he can when people truly pray without ceasing for a need. What if I prayed without ceasing EVERYDAY?

The Princess

Today we're just hanging around the house...it's much needed! Addison decided to put her baby's tiara on! It's gone from summer to winter here in about a day! So...we're all hanging out in sweats watching football...and we love it!

Sweet, Sweet Memories!

This afternoon after naptime Caden went downstairs while I changed Addison's diaper. When I got downstairs he was sitting in the corner chair with a picture. I could tell by the frame what picture it was. He then said to me, "Mommy who is that man holding the little girl and that lady?" It was a picture of my Grandad holding me and my Nanny (his mother) sitting next to us. I was probably about 4. It's not a great picture, it's kinda dark, but certainly one of my favorite pictures. You see, I was a Grandad's girl!

Throughout the day today he's been asking me to tell him stories about HIS Great Grandad! I love that he claims him even though he's never met him. Tonite I told him about weeks spent at my Grandma and Grandad's...what precious memories. All of the sudden I could smell the smell of onion bagels that lingered back to the bedroom early in the morning. My Grandad ALWAYS got up REALLY early and did the crossword for the day and ALWAYS had an onion bagel with the butter melted just right ready when I got up with grits. After breakfast we'd go on an adventure. No matter where we went it was always fun! Some day's we'd go to my Nanny's together and just hang out and watch the planes land! It was neat telling Caden about my Nanny and the VERY tall apartment complex she lived in and my memories of eating pizza everytime I went to her house at the very same dining room table that is in Caden's Grandma's house now! He couldn't believe it!

Caden couldn't believe that I slept in the very same bed he sleeps in on his visits now! He wasn't convinced that their house could be so old that his Grandma lived there when she was a little girl! I didn't try to explain that Aunt Lindsey and Aunt Laura lived there too...that might have blown his mind! We'll save that for another day! He asked if his Daddy knew him. I told him he didn't. So he went through the list of just about everyone else! Seriously, Mary, Jennifer, Allison, Brian, Chrisptopher, ect..... I told him that his Great Grandad would have loved him and Addison A LOT! I can just imagine...Caden and Addison would be rotten (okay even more rotten than they already are!) Addison is such a sweet reminder of him as I think she looks like my Grandad in a lot of ways!

So...family, Caden will be asking you very soon about Grandad! Start thinking of some fun stories now! He wants to see pictures too!

P.S. Mary and Jennifer would go with me sometimes but sometimes we'd go on our own weeks. One summer Mary lived up there and went to "Summer School" and split her time between Grandma/Grandad's and Nana/Da's! We were lucky that Nana and Da and Grandma and Grandad lived close to each other. Typically we would split out week in half mixed in with some fun times at Aunt Lindsey's! While I have great memories from their house's too! I will have to share memories from Aunt Lindsey's and Nana/Da's soon so one day they'll have all this on paper. However, it was VERY special to share memories of my Grandma and Grandad's with him today...especially my Grandad because our memories are the only memories he'll know of him. I'm thankful he has plenty of his own memories with my other grandparents!

14 weeks today

I can't believe I'm 14 weeks today...and I'll post about Caden first field trip shortly!!!

Eight years ago today I married my best friend! It's been a great 8 years! I'm so thankful that God gave him to me! He's not only a wonderful husband but a wonderful father to our (soon to be) 3 children! I can't wait to see what God has in store for us over the years!!!

Making Memories!

Last night I layed down with a headache. When I came down I found Brian, Caden and Addison making a memory! They were all snuggled up in a chair watching the stars. They were sweet enough to let me join them! Then they snuck on over to get some mommy love!!! I'm so thankful that they love making memories with us but thankful to that they have a daddy that takes advantage of these opportunities!!

Getting Ready...

Getting ready for Collins is SO different than it was with Caden and even Addison for so many reasons. It is still just as exciting! I can't wait to see him/her next Monday!! There's just not that much to buy....Brian's thankful I'm sure. I did see a sweet white day gown at the Lollipop shop that Collins just has to have!

What is SO neat is Caden's understanding. Sure there's A LOT he doesn't understand...like why Collins won't "hatch" tomorrow. Or why he can't by there when Collins is born. But what is neat is that he knows God is making Collins grow and hearing him pray for his baby! I love hearing Addison tell Collins night night and then "shhhhhhhhhhhhh" to my belly. Then she'll lift up my shirt and yell, "MORNIN! BABY!!" It's just too sweet! I'm sure she'll give sweet Collins a run for his/her money but I know she'll be oh so sweet!

(Side story...I asked Addison who the sweetest girl in the land was tonight and she yelled, "Addison!" I have to agree that girl is sweet like honey!)

One thing hasn't changed. Brian and I are certainly praying for Collins and his/her growth and development! I know the days will more than likely go by slow but I already feel like this pregnancy is FLYING by! Can you believe on Tuesday I'll be 11 weeks? Me either!

I'm trying to savor every moment of this pregnancy since it's our last...I almost promise! Seriously, we're 99.9% sure this is it for the Muller's but I also said I was done after Addison screamed for months on end!

Thank you for praying for our sweet baby and family as we prepare for his/her arrival! It's such a blessing to see all of you just as excited for our new addition to the Muller clan! I already can't imagine our family with him/her!

p.s. Caden SWEARS Collins is a boy and Addison is VERY sure Collins is a girl....what's your guess?

Meet Collins!!

This morning Brian and I went for our first ultrasound of baby #3. Since we found out we were pregnant my sweet husband has been VERY worried that there were two babies...so much so that I was a little worried but here is a sweet picture of the only baby there! Collins is following suit with his/her big brother and sister. He/she hammed it up and moved all around and flapped those short little arms! I love that he/she already looks like it has a big belly!
Isn't it amazing how big he/she is at only 9 weeks 3 days? We thought so too! My OB was so sweet to grab this 3D picture of our newest baby!! Caden and Addison were so excited to see a picture!
Have you heard that we will not know if Collins is a boy or a girl until he/she is born! YIKES! I can't believe we're actually going to follow through with it...but we are! There's too many of you saying we'll never make it! It will be so exciting! Caden has decided that he wants to be the one to tell everyone if it's a boy or a girl...so he'll know first and you'll have to find out from him! It's very important to him!!
