Their Conversations

Their conversations in the car crack me up...

Here are a few conversations I've heard this week.

1. (Addison yelling for Daddy)
Caden: Addison do you think you can stop calling for Daddy I already told you he's at work.
Addison: nope (continues to call for Daddy)

2. Caden and I were having a conversation (about what you ask...there's no telling.) Insert Addison sing "Jesus Loves Me" at the top of her lungs!
Caden: Excuse me Mommy I need to deal with Addison

3. Caden: Addison do you know why everyone loves you
Addison: no
Caden: Because God loved us first. Isn't that awesome?

I gotta say this almost made me cry! Nothing is sweeter than listening to Caden speak God's truths to his sister! They are really best friends. Although, she knows exactly how to irritate him there's nothing sweeter than the two of them "talking" to each other! Right now Caden mostly talks to her and then she'll either say "yes", "no" or "nope" to him or will just babble.

This is why I love her!

Oh My!

Daddy didn't learn from Mommy's mistake...but this time I had a camera handy!

We've had a crazy day! This morning we went to Bumper Jumpers with friends. We had a great time! At the end Addison went down a slide at the bottom I stood her up and she would fall right back down after 2 steps. After a while she could walk but was still wobbly. So...I called the pediatrican and they recomended that I take her to the orthopedic. After xray were complete I'm happy to report that she did not break her leg...just pulled a legiment in her knee. She's outside playing now so I feel sure she's fine! We were told to give her tylenol as needed and let her set the pace! Well...if you know Ad you know she doesn't slow down and today is no exception.

I'm exhausted...so I'm off to convince Brian that going out to eat would be a GREAT idea! Don't ya think?

And it cracks me up.  I feel sure she was angry I wouldn't let her take part I'm some crazy activity! 

Sweet like honey

Our Week...

was CRAZY! It was filled with playdates, parties and well....poop!

Addison learned this week how to pull off her diaper! I knew this when I put her down Friday but thought....she'll be fine. I didn't put any shorts on her and well...I paid for it! When I went to get her up from nap she was calling for me. When I walked in she said, "oh my, mess!" She took her diaper off at some point and had a BM in the bed. I had to run and change, I was dressed to go to a party, and then deal with the mess! Of course I showered her and then bleached everything...yuck!!!

Friday was a day of parties! Caden had a sprinkler party at school. That evening we celebrated a great frieds birthday. It was a lot of fun with some great friends. Because we stayed so late we let Caden and Addison spend the night! Caden thought it was super cool. He told all his friends he was spending the night out but neglected to tell them his buddy was his sisters age! ha! When we left he wanted to stay, "all his days"! Oh my!

Today, Caden sang in church. I hope the video uploads...if not I will try to figure it out tomorrow! I promise to blog more this week. With all that we have going on somedays its hard to sit down and lay it all out!

She's a hoarder!

Just a few minutes ago I went to find AdEliz. I hadn't heard from her in at least 60 seconds...which meant she was up to something! I found her wedged behind the toilet in our powder room with the usual....two tubes of toothpaste, two bags and don't forget the baby!

Oh and she can now open the toothpaste cap...lets just say her teeth are sure to be clean today and we need to find a better hiding place now that she has mastered the stool. She carries the stool throughout the house to enable her in her...well...hoarding of toothpaste and other things! Seriously though, she always has more things in her arms than neccessary and will carry them around for hours. If she find more than she can carry she will sit down and load up one of the many bags she carries! I love this sweet girl!

He MUST build a robot!

This morning Caden came in our room dressed ready to build his robot. We've heard about this plan for well over a week. So today's the day. His Daddy will take him to home depot to get some scrap wood and together they will build a robot...at least that's the plan! Check out the hard hat!!

Busy Day

Whew! What a busy day! We started the morning at the dentist! Addison had her first dentist experience...and...we survived! She didn't love it like her brother does but she at least let them do what they need to!

This afternoon Caden will get his hair cut and then we're off to Winston! Mary is getting a very special award that you can only get once in your career! Out of about 3000 nurses only 47 were chosen and Mary was one of them! Tonite we'll watch her receive her award!

Tomorrow is Mary's birthday. We'll have a birthday dinner and of course cake! I will try to post pictures later tonite!!!
