Caden lost his first tooth

Caden called his grandma this morning after he realized today was the day for the first tooth to come out.

Just in time. The permanent tooth is already halfway in.

Tonight I'm upstairs watching reality tv. Brian opted not to. :) as I was looking at facebook I can across this jewel that my sweet husband posted. I hope it makes you laugh as hard as I did!!

Being told "no" is no fun!!

It's pool time!

This year we joined the Cardinal Pool! It's so nice and there are not very many people at all. It was awesome. The best part? It's about half a mile from our house. Caden and Brian rode their bike today. They both loved it!

Collins loves the water! I can't wait to spend the summer there!!

We finished off our memorial day with a cookout at mom and dads and a 5 mile walk on the greenway!

Caden's new bike

Caden needed a new bike. So, we spent 2 Saturdays looking for the perfect bike. Caden, Addison and Brian found it today!

I think he looks handsome!! He even made his daddy stop at the top of the street so he could ride it home. He must of planned that since he had his helmet!!

Finally, we got Collins 1 year pictures and Caden's 6 year pictures done.  We had a GREAT time!

Addison wanted to stand on her own rock. So typical!  That sweet girl beats to her own drum...and I love it!

(Family, if you would like to order any of these AND many more I have uploaded them to shutterfly and would be happy to email you the link...just let me know!)

Stitches oh my!!

This morning started off great...Caden played ball and did great. We came home he played outside. Just as we were coming in to get ready for a birthday party Caden fell off his bike....split his chin open, chipped a tooth and scraped up his face, elbow and knee. Whew. In a flash we were off to brenners to get him fixed up. 4 stitches later and some really great medicine to make sure he doesn't remember a thing he is sound asleep in his bed. Brian tried to watch them fix Caden up and almost passed out. I didn't. I stood by his head and rubbed his head without seeing too much.

I'll spare you all the nasty pictures. If you'd like to see them shot me an email.

Addison and Collins enjoyed their afternoon with grandma and granddaddy. I'm not sure what we would do without family close by!!
