The Last Three Years!!

I hope you enjoy these pictures! The last three years have been some of the best! Caden was a VERY sweet baby and continues to be a sweet little boy...most days! Here is a picture of him at about 3 or 4 weeks already sucking his thumb. He told me a couple of weeks ago that he was going to stop when he turned 3. I asked him about that this morning and he told me that it's okay if he sucks his thumb when he's 3. April 3, 2006 our sweet boy was born weighing 6 lbs. 7 oz!! My water broke at about 5:30 on April 2nd at 37 weeks 2 days! I didn't have contractions until about 10 that night. Caden was born on the 3rd at 4:23 pm. When Caden was born he was VERY white, with a fever and did not cry! After a couple of hours I got to hold that sweet boy!

This is the first time I held Caden just before they swept him off to the nursery to make sure he was okay! His Daddy stayed with him the whole time!

August 31st Caden became a big brother to Addison Elizabeth!

Christmas 2008. Caden got his first Motorcycle! He loves it! Just about 3!! Caden having fun in some March snow!!

These last 3 years have gone by way too quickly! I'm looking forward to watching him grow into a young man. Brian and I pray for him daily that he will grow up to be a wonderful man, father and husband! We also pray that God will guide us to be the parents that produce that wonderful man...we sure can't do it on our own! HAPPY BIRTHDAY CADEN! We love you!

Birthday Party Fun

We had a GREAT time today at Caden's birthday party!! Caden had a blast and can't wait to play with all of his toys tomorrow after church!! I got to hold sweet baby Allyn while her Daddy and brother went to play!

Caden got goggles for his birthday and wanted to wear them in the tub tonight. He was kind enough to let Addison wear his old ones!

This week I want to post some pictures from his birth until now...so check back!! Friday we will be having a family birthday dinner at...Tripps...where else would my 3 year old choose to have his birthday dinner?

Rain, Rain Go Away!!!

We have done NOTHING this week. Addison, Caden and I are all ready to get out of this house. Here is a picture of our sweet girl in her brothers bike seat. Don't worry....I didn't let Brian go anywhere with her in it. I need to find her a helmet. She did love sitting there.

We are ready for Caden's birthday party tonight! I'll be sure to post pictures this weekend! Can you believe that sweet boy is 3!!!

SOCCER and Sunday School Fun!

Caden started soccer this week! HE LOVES IT! We just need to work on staying with the team during practice. The other parents commented on how well he dribbles the ball. That's right...my son can dribble....AWAY from the rest of the team. I hope you enjoy the pictures. First big game is Saturday! We can't wait!

Addison LOVES Sunday School these days. She also loved chewing on this pig. I think our girl is teething as she was up several times last night until we gave in and gave her some tylenol. Can you believe this girl is almost 7 months...we can't!

Who says "church fellowship" is for grown men and women. Here is Addison enjoying the company of her good friends Allyn and Alex! We are very excited about all the babies that Addison will grow up with....9 new ones...mostly girls! She told me today that she can't wait to meet a new boyfriend that is expected this week!

Addison decided that she did not want to sleep with her brother today. Can you see how sad she was to have some "Mommy Time"?!?!? She is getting so big!! Now that Caden is up she's sleeping. Today in the mail came this great photo prop that I ordered for his birthday party. He loves it! I hope his friends do too! I thought it was really cute! I can't believe that sweet boy is almost 3!!!! He has his first soccer practice on Saturday so check back for pictures of that!

Thankful Thursday....

I am thankful that my children are healthy!! I've come across many blogs of mom's and dad's that have lost their babies or are in the midst of a storm with their sick babies/children! The health of Caden and Addison (as well as Brian and I) is something that I often take for granted. Even on my worse day any one of those people would trade places with me or any of us to have their health!!

I hope you get out and enjoy the day today!! Caden, Addison and I spent the morning outside with some great friends!!! I'm sure we'll head back out as soon as that sweet girl wakes up!!!

Look who's in the bathseat!

It's Addison!! Since Addison is sitting up now we decided to give the bathseat a try. It worked pretty good but will work better once she's sitting up better! We have many, many more pictures of her looking at the water. I'm sure bathtime will be easier for Brian now. Yes, Brian gives baths every night! Doesn't get better than that, does it? I don't think so! Caden loved having her in there with him! She seemed unsure of the Elmo speedboat that was driving all over her!

Addison all bundled up after her bath!! All and all it went well. She wasn't happy about the water going in her face as her hair got washed! Caden on the other hand loves for the water to go over his face. Go figure!

Oh yea, Caden and Addison are the proud new owners of a swingset. Now, I just have to find someone to put it up!!!
